Seasonal Greenhouse Order Auditor/Examiner at Freeman Herbs

Job Summary:
At Freeman Herbs, we are seeking a detail-oriented Seasonal Order Auditor to join our greenhouse team. This role is responsible for verifying and ensuring the accuracy of customer orders before shipment. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to quality control.
What You’ll Do:
- Review and audit greenhouse orders of herbs and vegetables to ensure accuracy in quantity, variety, and quality.
- Verify that orders match invoices, shipping labels, and customer specifications.
- Inspect plants for quality and report any discrepancies or damages to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with supervisors to correct errors and maintain order accuracy.
- Use inventory management systems to track and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with greenhouse safety standards and policies.
- Assist in resolving order discrepancies and reporting recurring issues to supervisors.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a greenhouse, warehouse, or order fulfillment role is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order verification.
- Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment, including exposure to varying temperatures and humidity.
- Ability to lift and stand for extended periods.
- Must be comfortable working long hours/Saturdays as needed.
